With Class,making posters, and getting classes for the next quarter.

You one of the most kindest, warm , giving people I have ever met.Your one of those people who i want every one to come across with once in their life. I cant remember one conversation we have had, either phone, text, or aim ,that I have never walked away not smiling afterward. Ever since I met you Ash I knew you were something special . I know we share a lot of memories but one I remember is when you gave me my very first Lupe mix Cd alongside BBD's "Poison" because you knew that was me and Emons cut at the pep rallies.

I say all that to say this..
To see you from ASB making posters to giving Graduating speeches has been a pleasure that i treasure .

Black History Month

Hello readers,

For the month of February, CSUB is taking a lot of pride to really unite the campus in celebration of Black History. Our first event was titled "Etiquette For the Soul" . An etiquette class presented by a very renown speaker by the name of Dee Slade who gave us great instruction on the importance of Lady-like and Gentleman behavior. I was asked to take a few shots.

This past week all I have been doing is this......With this same face and a few rewarding things happened . I took my exam today and it was the first time I took a test and knew nearly everything that was on it. Im excited to see my grade. I studied like a hound and this was just the first of three exams.

Oath.

Inaugural Address

Today, has been one of the greatest days I could ever witness. The Inaugural oath and address by Barack H. Obama truly brought tears to my eyes. To see what was unfolding right in front of my eyes transcended any prior assumptions of these moments.The whole experience was truely breathtaking and conveyed the values and principles that America is based upon.We as americans should be proud.
I emplore all that face any challenges that they institute botht faith and hope and watch what manifests.Let us all relish in the moments of today and allow ourselves to usher in the future with a great mind of hope and aspiration for a brighter tomorrow.Especially, for me being an African-american, seeing signifies a milestone of fortitude and tenacity of a race of people.

One thing I can gather is that America has a new tomorrow.

We The People have ...

A dream.

And now a reality.

Jan 6. Today, Had to be the best Birthday ever. I was extremely tooken back from all the love that I received. I got countless messages and calls from my family ,friends, and loved ones. Even my 82 year old Grandfather called to say "That he has complete faith in me that this is the beggining of a great road to be paved". My Grandma sent me a basket full of my favorite Chocolate. My sister even sent me a heartwarming text message. It even felt that God gave me a gift as well because when i woke up to read my bible it landed in the most significant place, the book of Jeremiah. It read:

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.

Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.

See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant."

and that's when I knew like Ice Cube "today was gonna be a good day".

For some twenty is a milestone, others a corner stone, for me its a marquee to proceed.

Happy New Year to ALL

Man, I feel fantastic! I really praise God for the opportunity to see the year of 2009. Today, being the first day of the new year, I really made it a mission to spread smiles to all who I came into to contact with. I hope your new year is blessed and i know God has some Fantastic stuff in store for me!
