Patience.

"Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud,"...... 1 Corinthians 13:14 . "Patient" for some reason sticks out like a sore thumb . As a child i was always told that the window of opportunity always closes faster than it opens so I'm to grab things as soon as the opportunity presents itself. However, I learned( and am still learning)how somethings in life aren't meant to give you instant gratification.Love is one of those things and not just love in a romantic sense , but love across in all forms. Love with patience is a craft that when honed brings fufillment.

The Webster Dictionaries definition of patience is:

1: bearing pains or trials calmly or without complaint

2: manifesting forbearance under provocation or strain

3: not hasty or impetuous

4: steadfast despite opposition, difficulty, or adversity

5 a: able or willing to bear —used with of b: susceptible, admitting
— pa·tient·ly adverb

Today, I went to the impatient central, the Department of Motor vehicles. I had to go do my permit test. I was there for a total of 2 hours; 11-1. I used this time as a perfect time to exercise my patience by exercising courtesy and understanding to every one I came in contact with (i.e crying children, irritated workers etc.) Though I didn't pass my permit test, I'm taking this as a learning experience as not only being patient with the world , but with myself as well.

....Patience is truely a virtue.
