Acting 3 Journal Excerpt

I think if I had to name today’s subject it would probably be called breakthrough. I thinks the class as a whole witnessed the development of actor’s on stage. It was enthralling to see with every push, kick, and breath the shedding of the personal and the surfacing of the character. Personally, when I was on stage I knew that my target was the character I envision myself. With every breath I felt the exchange of emotion within me. I have a lot of pent up anger, aggression, pain, and love on the inside because of my life right now. With the words of the monologue I completely let go and I saw myself melt into the character.
